Thank you to all our guests for their kind feedback and valuable recommendations!
To fully enjoy your relaxing day in the Belgian Ardennes, we strongly recommend booking in advance. Here’s why:
Our region, the Ardennes, is unfortunately poorly served by public transport (train and bus). Getting here by public transport can be a real obstacle course (for example: 2 hours by train + 2 hours by bus from Brussels). On top of that, there are only about 2 buses a day.
Our advice: come by car for a simpler and faster journey. Address: Kayaks La Vanne – Rue Léon Henrard, 10 – 5550 Alle-sur-SemoisIt is always strongly recommended to book your kayak to avoid any unpleasant surprises. In high season, it is not uncommon for us to have to turn away hundreds of people due to lack of availability. Booking also allows us to better organise your welcome.
Tip: Book your kayaks 3 to 5 days in advance, or even earlier for groups. This doesn’t mean you won’t be able to book the day before, but it’s a precaution to guarantee the number of kayaks you want.
If you need to cancel your booking, you can do so:
No, the Semois is a calm river, accessible to everyone, young and old alike. The landscapes have remained wild because the nature is preserved, but the Semois is safe, even for beginners.
